Div 2 - 08/12/2008
This week Thornbury C remain at the top of the table  following a comfortable  7 - 3 win
against Forest Green B in which Steve Charlwood and Simon Lewis proved too strong
in taking maximum points each.
All Forest Green players contributed to their teams points with each gaining a win.
Randwick A kept up the pressure on the leaders by overcoming Whiteshill B by 6 - 4
though Bruce Ind put up some stern resistance for Whitehill remaining unbeaten in the
match.  The pairing of Nick Watts and Tim Chancellor proved just enough to give
Randwick the edge in winning the doubles.
Bottom of the table Cam & Dursley A proved to be a stiff test for Frampton A with
Harry Hogan and Neil Ormston both turning in some good performances. The match
went down to the deciding doubles when Steve Porter who had remained unbeaten
joined Paul Carter to shade a 6 - 4 win for Frampton.
Due to a scorecard error the match played last week between Cam & Dursley A and
Woodchester D was a win for Woodchester 6 - 4 and not a draw as reported. Tables
,scores and averages have been amended as necessary.
